• The 5.0 mmscfd amine unit consists of a 20" diameter by 51' high absorber column along with a 24" diameter stripper column of approximately 61'
• The main amine recirculation pump will be an FMC piston pump. Additional pumps will consist of a booster centrifugal pump for the main amine stream and a diaphragm pump for the reflux condenser
• A heat exchanger will be utilized for the lean amine and rich amine exchange with a direct gas-fired amine reboiler
• An activated carbon bed will be used to remove remaining contamination in the lean amine stream. A rich amine filter will be provided.
• An air-cooled lean amine cooler will be provided along with an air-cooled overhead reflux condenser
• The equipment will be mounted on skids with the exception of the absorber column, which will be directly bolted to a concrete foundation. The expense of piping between the provided equipment, foundations, and amine storage is to be provided by the buyer

The plant operates on a very simple principle primarily by control of the heat to the reboiler. The entire plant will operate upon setting the main amine pump volume and the reflux pump volume. The cooler may be adjusted by temperature control louvers. An amine operations booklet will be provided to the buyer. Tucker Gas Processing Equipment will supervise the plant installation, as well as a start up training session sufficient to familiarize the amine plant operator with the process necessary to successfully operate the system. The cost of start up training and installation will be in addition to the quoted price for the equipment, based on an hourly rate per diem plus travel.
